Extra Classes ?

I see some of us do SOT as the extra class, I have just spoke to NE and we can do the sv650 class as an extra as I did at cadwell. We would be out with the F400's.

Anyone else gonna do it ?

Shame they don't have the SV650 class on their forms, as this would be a much better option than going into the SoT class which seems a bit full (and us slightly underpowered!) at most meetings.

Yebbut... didn't they combine the SV650 and the DD classes at Cadwell?

You may enter the extra class but because it gets combined you'd get no more tracktime.

I think I'll stick with SoT to ensure the extra time on the track!

No, just going by what happened at Cadwell!

There weren't enough SV650 entries to fill their own grid, so they got lumped in with the DDers - and Tony (CC) was the only entry IIRC.

Should NE only get 10 or so SV650 entries, they may well get added into our grids which means you'll not get any extra tracktime for your money.

I reckon you're better off putting in for SoT which is popular enough to guarantee you extra tracktime.

I would think you're spot on Ant. Especially if we get a decent turn out at Oulton, which it looks like. I would think the Hairnets, SV650's and other classes could well be put with the seperate DD grids.

Seeing as there are 13 classes racing (24 races), and only 90 mins allocated for practice/qualifying.

I would think 10 mins for qually - so that's a whole 4 laps then.
