As someone who has also been in DD from the start, I can see both sides of the tyre issue.

It will be interesting to see how the season pans out, and I think its good that DD has decided to try something different in an attempt to revitalise the series.

Initial thoughts after Brands Hatch are that the tyres are a huge improvement on last years and felt a lot more like a 'race' tyre than a 'road' tyre! Should be even bigger difference when it warms up a bit too!
