Anybody else got a grey 748s

I was wondering about polishing/protecting paint. My dealer said to use normal polish but it will never come up glossy/shiny( I know its not mean't to be shiny). I get a white coating left almost, and it looks like loads of scratches where its been touched until you rub the powder away. Is there a specific matt polish avaliable?. I love the raised decals on the bike though.

And its so different, Grey is faster than red or yellow.

Thanks

You cant polish undercoat, send it back to Ducati and have them apply the red top coat!

Bob

I know I can't polish it, I just want a good wax/polish to protect the paint.

The undercoat is white on my bike and not grey l

Thanks

Lee, if it is polish you are afte, I would use Mr Sheen or back to black, which is a silicone base polish. It won't dry white.

I would think that just by washing regulary with an additive in the water to remove road grime would be enough. The grey looks great in that satin finish, I think any further gloss would spoil the look imo.
