d'you know what number was on the yoke?

so can't remember, but the reg is correct. I have check on DVLA site and the bike is not due tax yet, so someone must still be riding it.

my dealer transferred my "DUC" registration plate on to my second-hand 749R, I never saw the original reg. it must be on some documentation somewhere, fuctifiknow where it is now...

i'll keep looking.

I wonder if there's a friendly officer who could run a PNC check for you?!
