I think the car driver was driving in a dangerous manner but you didn't do yourself any favours allowing yourself to be so close to them. I would have either sped off to get some space or slowed down to keep him in front of me where I could keep an eye on him. Doesn't matter how in the right we might be, the car driver will always come off better in a collision.

Looking at the vid yes he was being a pain to you but you were flashing him and sounding your horn. There was no need for that, you were too close also.

You can be in the right as you speed along, but you are just as dead as if you had been in the wrong.

Put it down to experience and move on.

I only tooted my horn, wasn't flashing him or unduly harrassing him imo. But you are right, I should have just cracked on and gotten away from him just wasn't gonna up my speed above the limit with speed cameras on that stretch of road.

unfortunately not, had hoped to but my best mate had an emergency so had to cancel my plans and help her out. Would have been a lovely day out on the bikes too.

Am now Ducatiless too as its been taken back to Sycamore Ducati to get its Termis fitted and set up. Get it back in a few days ready for a trackday at Brands

Cool

I wouldn't have waited, and would have made progression on the inside, but thats just my way, well within your rights to do so if you were going at the speed limit,

And as he had eventually pulled over you should have hoisted the front end up ....... good job your getting the termi's fitted maybe he will hear you next time ...... loud cans save lives.

Yorkie (Joking on some of the above ...... but not all of it!)

P.S. What happened after? Did i hear the skidding of tyres?

Now I've seen the vid, tbh wtf were you doing blocking him? He got out of the way, you should have blasted past with a wave like the previous rather than sit at his side and block him in

Happens to me all the time, move out of the way from some tosser ( not saying you are ) who then slows down and means I have to knock cruise off and brake. Doing 45k miles plus a year, this is in my top 3 of annoyances....
