I'm in the process of fitting a new chain using a MOtion chain breaker type tool borrowed off a mate. Iver put the chain on, pushed the pins through, but cant figure out which bit to use to fold the ends of the pins over. any ideas - quick!!!

never heard of that make of breaker! should there be a sharp pointy that goes in place of the bit that pushes the plates on? not sure if it's on yours? but ones i have seen the point goes against the end of the pin and screwing it in splays out the end of the pin .

hope that helps a bit !!!!

Good luck - Frank

Damn.. you need to be a member to view the pics on the fireblade forum....

So....I had a look through the Chain manufacturers websites - Regina came up trumps:

Hope it works

Right on! Angle grinder, pin punch and hammer are the tools of choice for me.
