Newbie from France

Hi there,

My name is Max and I work/live in France. I ride a Ducati Streetfighter in Paris (well, I'd rather say 'from/to' Paris if you see what I mean) and a Ducati Sport 1000 Monoposto in Dordogne where I have family.

I also run a sport touring motorcycle club which emphasises the 'sport' in sport touring. Club name is MotoVirolo. Here is a link to our website in English: http://www.motovirolo.com/motorcycle-club-home.html

Please allow me to tell you a bit more about the club: it's basically an informal group of like-minded enthusiasts coming from all over France and Europe. It's a specialised motorcycle club which only welcomes riders of naked bikes and sport bikes of character, with a preference for European makes and models: Ducati, Benelli, Triumph, KTM, MV Agusta, Bimota, Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Moto Morini... Euro-skeptics need not apply!

Throughout the year, our members organise rideouts, weekend and weeklong motorcycle trips on the twisting and sunny roads of southern France, southern Europe and beyond. This year for instance we plan a weeklong trip in the Alps (end of June) and a weeklong tour of Sardinia, with a little bit of southern Corsica as well (early September). We will also hold a 2-day rally in Saint-Nectaire (Auvergne) in June.

Feel free to join those trips !

I look forward to riding with you one of these days.

I'm attaching a few pics just for the show-off sake of it.

Cheers !

Bienvenue Max.
Nice skills on the SF.
I'm overdue a trip to France but it isn't going to be this year.
So a vin rouge from the virtual bar will have to do for now.
A la tienne.
