Silverstone 9th Oct, Final round of the NG champioonships

Sadly I am working this weekend so can not make the Derby Pheonix meeting at Donington with the other DSC guys.

So instead I will be racing at Silverstone next Saturday the 9th October.

The racing will take place on the club circuit.

I will be riding my Ducati in the Sound of Thunder races under No. 149

Practice sessions start at 9:00, I'm in the third practice which should be around 9:20. Racing is expected to start around 10:50

The very full race programme includes 125s and 400s, Formula 600 , Open, Powerbike, Streetstocks, Sound of Thunder and Mini Twins and those Madmen on their Sidecars.

Was up at silverstone today for the new era meet... some really good racing in all the classes even tho it's not the most interesting track about, and weather ranging from dry'n'bright to a mid aftynoon monsoon!

Doubt I'll be getting up there again next weekend, but good luck to you kev - hope the weather's better than it was today!

Wet or Dry Nick either will suit me so long it isn't those in between conditions,
but should have a full range of tyres, Full wets, Rennsport wets as inters and Rennsports if its dry.

Thanks for the offer Steve, I may have Adrian joining me for the day, not sure yet or maybe even Dallas.
Finished preping the bike today. Lowered the gearing, set the rear ride height, refitted the Proflex shock, replaced the headlight bucket with a fibreglass fairing bracket, put a radius on the end of the Valter-Motor rearsets.
Fitted the wets as I prfer to swap from wets to drys in the dry than vice Versa. Maybe able to squeeze into a garage but with the Friday practice day most of the other racers will probably be there long before I turn up on Sat morning.
Still I only have two races so not really a hectic day.
Also got to remember to pick up my 955 engine from CSC Racing.
