A different perspective

Spent the day at Trailworld near Luton doing their introductory course prior to a trip to Andalucia next Friday.

After *0 years away from off roading (used to do a bit of trials riding in the day) was a very different experience today especially as the ground was sodden from early rain. However didn't get wet , even through the water , although the bike hit the ground many times during the morning technique session.

Lunch was interesting as it turned out that my instructor was Ian .......... who won the Desmo Due series last year so we had lots to chat about over the obligatory Greasy Lil's lunch.

In the afternoon we headed off to some wide open spaces with hills, ruts,
water and gravel to try out what we had tried to pick up in the morning.
No big spills in the afternoon and managed to keep upright in the water section.

Ended the day exhausted but satisfied. Now for the next bit in Spain !

Can recommend Trailworld .....slow start but good logical progression made the afternoon free time most enjoyable. Thanks Ian.

Give it a go !

Good to see them back in business.I think this was the company that I booked a weekend in Wales with,only to have about nine bikes nicked a few days before the event, early last year.4D
