Will my old van sell on Ebay

As I now have a newer van I have put my old one up for grabs on Ebay, listing it for Spares or repair with a start price of £90 and no reserve.

After 24 hours I'm suprised by the interest and the amount of questions I have had asking if I had a buy it now price.

I would say its hard to tell what something like this is worth and yes possibly a bit more if I had given it a good clean, but who knows its next destination may be the scrap yard.

So the question is

Will it sell ?

and if it does

How much for ?

With all that Borg technology I saw growing on it at Donnington its easly got to be worth more than £160. And following you back from Silverstone this year I recon you could sell it to the red arrows display team if you put a little bit of red dye in the diesel

Seriously, it will sell. Some people got time to repair or already have a simular van to donate to. Recon it will go for £300 to 500 if you got this much intrest already. But if you did'nt expect more than £160 dont be greedy and just take the first buy now for £200 and get yourself some DD tyres and a tank of Diesel for the trip to Snet and Back.

Craig

Thats a bit to sensible for Craig, who's hi-jacked his user name
But a very good point.
Hopefully existing tyres will see me through Snetterton and then Mallory will kill off the rear so will need new tyres before Oulton

Flogged an old unroadworthy Iveco years ago, the phone was red hot, I pretty soon realised that it was worth about 3 time what I'd advertised for if it was broken for bits.

The neighbours were please to see it go, no need for a red and yellow striped flag on our road anymore

Ray.

Don't sell it on eBay Kev...

I'll give you a 100 million dollars for it.

That's just as soon as I can get a wheelbarrow to bring them round in. Mmmmmm, loads o money, 100 million....think about it. 100 million Zimbabwe Dollars...worth £1.76 today, but be quick, it'll only be worth 80 pence tomorrow

next step 916, then 955, then 996 and followed by 998, hope to skip the 999

Took a call earlier from a guy who wants to come for a closer look this evening

As Ray says the neighbours will be glad to see it go as I'm currently parking the car in one of the parking bays across the road

I accepted £150, I would have let it go for the £90 I listed it for if thats all that was bid and if I had held out I may well have got more,
7 years ago I paid £250 for it and it has cost me very little over that time, performed faultlessly on the run to Assen and back last year so I would say I had my moneys worth
