Sorry we missed you Lily,

KeefyB, Mark and myself were all at the esses.

Have to say what a hero to Dan Linfoot, Brit wildcard in the 125 who got an amazing result. He's comes from my hometown.

Only peever is that he was using different bodywork to normal, and his normal bodywork has my name all over it.

Got home at 1930 after 120 miles of heavy rain (added to the 8 hours of the bleeding stuff from Donny) to find the boiler at home is playing up so can't dry my stuff ready for TA4.

Wet gloves, boots and leathers around Cadwell, Hmm-hmmmmmmmmmmmm

Would of been nice to stay, but we played the numbers game, 2 hours of standing in the rain waiting for the MotoGP boys, then a 45 minute race, 20 mins back to the car then god knows how long trying to get home, so all that time in the rain.

As Lily has said we made our move just as the 250 boys were coming out, got out of the circuit ok (as were quite a few others it has to be said) and got home and turned the TV on as the red lights went out, couldn't of timed it any better

Blimey,I cant remember the last time I stood/sat/rode in weather like that!
Despite the weather,I reallt enjoyed the racing and perversely, the ride home.
Marko and I got geared up in the exhibition centre after the racing. We got straight out of the circuit and I was home for around 6.30.The Multistuka went very well in the poor conditions, only had two slides,...one little one on some overbanding near Melton, and one big one on a roundabout five miles from home.

Didn't get to meet up with any of you in the viewing area - I was the one in my waterproofs with a platic bag on my head under my cap!!
Racing was good. Departure took me an hour to get to the M1 (using the organisers directions that seemed to disappear after a few miles) and another 3 hrs to get back to Kent - gloves still wet this morning! Last time I got that wet was hurricane season in Florida.
999 was suprisingly comfortable over the distance though I have to say. Worst bit was having had my visor up when leaving, when it came to getting going and putting the visor down, furiously wiping it before I realised the rain was on the inside! Doh..

Ignored the directions that came with the tickets and went in past the airport as normal, parked right by one of the entrances, stood and got soaked by the Esses, and left straight after the GP. Out and away within 15 minutes and home by 6:15... soaked through but thoroughly enjoyable. Leathers are still wet through this morning though...!

Myself, Welshy and another mate endured the rain all day. We were so ill prepared that we had no waterproofs and only one umbrella. Even after buying welshy more trousers, another fleece and an umbrella, we were still soaked to the skin. But then the MotoGP boys came out...we dropped our brollies...and went mad. It was such a laugh just jumping up and down in the rain, shouting at people to drop their brolies so we could see the big TV as well

After the racing had finished we had a 20 mintue walk back to the secret parking space and then off we drove, not a traffic jam in sight

Glad all you guys managed to get away so quickly, with your favourite parking spaces & little known routes etc.

Maybe next year someone would like to share some knowledge with a Donnington novice?

Rode up Sunday morning, nobody asked us for tickets so in we went.

One of us went back out and sold our tickets

Left after the 125 and got home for the second lap of MotoGp

Still perhaps Brno will be sunny
