Mirror screws!!

So here you go. Apologies for the slightly blurry shot ... it's only a DSC U20 - no zoom etc ...

The one on the left is the original one on my bike ...

The one on the right is the one very generously supplied by Desmondo ....

suffice to say that the short one is too short to grab the thread in the mirror and I can't put it on!!!! Bugger!!!!

Did anyone know that you could get two different screws for this?

Oops, I meant that Jasper supplied the mirror screw - Desmondo supplied the indicator!

A rather embarrassing mistake.

A hundred lashes (sans Dominatrix ...)

the left one looks correct to me. They may have changed them on the later models with grey frames.

Hey Ziggi, mine is the grey frame and it takes the one on the left.

Not sure about the other one - Jasper had\has a 748 although I'm fairly sure they were supposed to be the same? Maybe there is added bracing on the arms coming up from the nose adding width on the later bikes (not sure what year Jasper's 748 is) and therefore needing the longer screw?

In any case - Nelly to the rescue again, he is posting me a new one.

The one on the right looks like the screw that holds the fuel pump into the base of the tank, I have a few of them spare so you could have a matching pair of short ones

Jasper is a bit old and weathered so is allowed to be a numpty every now and then! :P:P:P:P

Funnily enough, there's an e-mail in my inbox from Jasper saying it was a fuel pump screw (I had just sent it back to him!)

Nevermind, Nelly sent me one and it should be here tomorrow I'm guessing.
