various replies:

I can't use the std battery location cos there is a K&N in the way!

the ones on ebay were a joined pair to go on std inlet manifolds, and half the object of the exercise is to get rid of these

I too have seen a site with some pix of a split carb setup, but I can't find the link either!

But - they are on and the bike runs so its off to be dynoed tomorrow

(And knowing how things have gone thus far there will be a problem and I'll spend Thursday night refitting the CVs.........)

That's why we're leaving them for some serious dyno setup time instead of trying to rush them on.

You guys get some work out of me !!!

LOL - no one else can

Not the link I was thinking of but its a good one:

http://desmoracerz.free.fr/keihin.html

and

have a look at the bottom most link - split carbs.

Paynep is right - split FCR's with Malossi inlet stubs seems to be the way to go.

Interesting price too: 995Euro = £671

Phew, at least somebody is charging more than I paid for the carbs! And then you need fanimolds and filters......

But trust me, those cables will be too short..............
