Couple more questions!

The rectifier was wired up:-red to + terminal battery,green - terminal battery,white not connected,two yellow to alternator.
Am I right in thinking,red should go to main fuse on battery tray,the red cable,top left in pic.
Green to - terminal battery
White to ?

Next, the conical spring in pic was on either,throttle cable or cold start cable,cant remember exactly where.Any advice please,any many thanks for the help so far.

From memory, that sounds right but if you check that unused female bullet connector, I think you'll find that it feeds to the main fuse/battery positive. That's where my rec' output connects.

Sorry,but exactly where.Is it between the adjuster and inner cable clamp?
