best french roads?

Next weekend i'm off riding from Calais to Chatel in France. Can anyone reccomend a route? We're taking two days to get down and want to ride the best backroads we can. We're coming back in one day on the autoroutes.

Cheers, now let's see how uncomfortable my 999 neoprene racing seat really is.....

Havn't a clue where you are going , but my favorite roads are the ones that get you away from the uk asap. I'm sure someone else will be more help.

Just calm down, I'll be round in 5 minutes with a can of cider to help you relax!

If you come back past Geneva going north try to go along the Autoroute de Colossus, awesome motorways just stuck on the side of some large lumps of rock
