2004 999r dynoed

hello pips, just had new 2004 999r, with 1250 miles on,57mm full system, race ECu that comes with bike on the dyno........135bhp,77flb torque......does this sound about right?.....according to JHP they should be about 140.....but then again I've been told of their dyno been on the 'generous' side.

whats the norm?

I guess the dyno is only as good as the operator.............and they dont come much better than John Hackett!

I suggest you need a Pc111 usb?.........i have a 999r with similar spec to you, plus pc111 and.......148....... but more importantly, a nice power curve, no dips!

The power curve was more of a straight line, the torque curve very linear(about 70flb at about 5,000rpm) and the fueling acording to the dyno guy very good from 5000 upwards, went a little lean 4-5,000.Ho,it has the freeer air filters in as well.

Would PC really be able to give me another 10+ bhp?

I have a 2004 999R with 57mm Leo Vince system, power commander and different air filters. It shows 139bhp with a pretty flat torque curve from 4500rpm upwards.

There are so many variances depending on who does it, ambient temperature, etc... one day it'll show 135bhp, the next 145bhp. Not sure the absolute figure is what really matters.
