I have a 54mm titanium half system waiting to go on, titanium conrods and 998S/R cams and ECU being fitted at the next service - depending on funds might stretch to some forged pistons, a balance and a port/flow on the cylinders.

Just need to get it back from its gearbox repair now

If it's a second hand one then get all the worn / broken / knackered bits sorted first.

On my 748 that meant, powder coated frame, new pads, new m/cyl cover, top end rebuild, cambelts, new swing arm spindle & bearings, new clutch basket & plates, change all fluids & filters, new front tyre, new back brake hose, lots of little 8mm stainless fasteners.

Then get it set up to fit you.

Double bubble screen, Helibars, Biposto springs chucked, new springs/shock rebuilt/ suspension set up by Graeme at Shoxx in Glasgow. Helibars make a massive difference if you are tall & fragile like me.

Then make it look & sound how you like.

Mine had JHP titanium cans chip & airfilter already so all I had to do was paint it black & bung on a DP hugger. Lighter clutch slave cylinder on the list next.

Then go looking for more power if you must. I just need to learn to use what's there.

Robbie

Termi's, FIM Chip, Filter & Dyno setup (TP reset, chip reprogramming etc)

Radial M/Cylinder, HEL Brake lines HH Pads

Adjusted levers, stuck Diablo's on, and a single seat unit (easily good for 10BHP ), ditched the toolkit in the garage, eat 1 less mars bar a day.

Next

Gearing to 14/40
Suspension fully worked over
Magnesium Wheels

Then

853, Nitrous, parachute, learn to ride better...

The order of planned mods has changed in recent weeks, and may change again...
