renthal front and rear sprockets question

Please could someone tell me the effect of going from my standard 35t rear/15t front sprockets to a renthal 36t/14t set-up ? I seem to recall some degree of change to acceleration/top speed characteristics, but cannot remember exactly...
Thanks

dont know what difference renthal will make as i put 520 light weight dp 36/14 set up on it was one of the first thing i did to my 999 as 5 & 6 gear was way to heigh as for acceleration it pulls even harder than before first gear can lead to front lifting at about 7k as for top end my speedo goes ---- when it gets to 177mph so not to many problems their either.

Sye,

Go to this website - calculates the effects of all gearing changes for YOUR bike.

http://www.xs4all.nl/~ator0437/gc/

It is great fun as well - see what sprox you need for a 260mph top-end!!

BTW - remember, a 14 tooth from sprocket will put a lot mor strain on your drive chain. Plenty of people do it, but then plenty of people snap chains.
