corse gear selector
i have, what i am informed is a corse gear selector for 748/916 type gearbox

the person i got it off apparently sourced it from a race team.

this item is i am told is a vast improvment over the std item fitted, in terms of durability and quality.

i can sort out a photo if anyone is intrested?

Umm ... no.

Are you sure it's not a weapon off the Lord of the Rings set?

It may well be a Corse part but unfortunately they use exactly the same part as the road models all the way through to 999RS 2005 and it looks pretty std in pic

As Dallas currently has the side casings off the 955 Corse engine at the moment as well as having the 916 Strada engine in bits all over the bench I will have to take the oppotunity to check the gear selectors out.

Speaking of Corse bits Dallas is in need of a light weight flywheel to suit a Corse/SPS engine that runs a P8 computer as he wants to fit a starter motor. He has a corse fly wheel to get rid of
