Probably not attending this one. Never been before, won't get time to practice before the race weekend and got a lot on with touring on the road bikes and the DSC trackday and stuff

I was thinking of doing the DD races (2 of them) on Saturday and the SV650 races on Saturday (2 of them). Assuming there is a practice/qualifying for each, then that's a total of 6 times on track. And if my calculations are right it'll cost me £160. (£110 for first two races each day and £25 per race thereafter) Seems to me like there's your practice/learn Snetterton trackday equivalent!

Then on the Sunday just likely to do the two DD races at this stage.

You pay for each day don't you? So £220 for two days first two races?

Right. The way I read it is £110 for the first two races per day. £25 each extra race.

So......

Saturday
2 x DD races = £110
2 x SV/SOT/F400 whatever races = £50
Total = £160

Sunday
2 x DD races = £110
Total = £110

Grand Total = £270

Granted that the FE trackday at Snetterton on the Friday is only £89, but I don't have to take another day off work if I just load my Saturday's racing. And at least by doing 4 races on the Saturday I get to practice not falling off at the first corner.

Thats what I was just about to send off for ... but ...
I work it out as:
2 x dd and 2 x sv on saturday = 160
2 x dd on sunday = 110
total 270

I decided quite a few months ago to give Snetterton a miss, back then is was scheduled as a single long race, since then things have changed through no fault of the DSC/DD but due to New Era trying a few changes to their Superclub format. So back in March when I decided I would not be going to Assen I also decide to give Snetterton a miss as I have already experienced those long boring straights on a 583 that was loosing a bit of its crispness as the race went on.
The upshot of this earlier choice was my decision to enter the NG Minitwins race at Pembrey just as I did on the same weekend last year. Where for my £150 entry fee I get to race on both Saturday and Sunday where I will be entered in 2 races a day, a 8 lap qualifier and a 10 lap final, I will also get at least two practices in either both on Saturday or one on each day or possibly a combination of both as I did last weekend.
I could enter a extra class but if I was spending the extra money I would attend the practice day on the Friday, probably just the afternoon session.

Only problem is having to be in on nightshift at 23:30 on the Sunday, then again at least my work place is on the way home from Pembrey

Should give a few more a chance to overtake me in the Class B championship

Well at Pembrey I am hoping to be racing both the 620 Class A bike all be it with differnt tyres (either supersport spec or wets) and the 750SSie, which I hope to have a grasp of its gearing by then and hopefully will have shed a few more Kilos off of it and added a shift light.
Next weeks DSC trackday should give me more info about both bikes and hopefully both bikes will be able to mix it with a few more of the SVs and some of the SoT bikes at Pembrey just like I did there last year and at Cadwell earlier this year.
