you cant easily get spare screens for ssie fairings let alone panels, but you can find 916 panels and screens everywhere, in a choice of shapes and colours to suit every budget

No wonder the sales figures are complete pants.
Ducati styled the best looking bikes in the world with the 916, then fell flat on their faces with everything else theyve produced since.

Cheeky sod. What's wrong with this? I think it's gorgeous!

Panels and screens are easily available. MRA do a screen as do Powerbronze for £39.

Cheapest way is to spend £2500 on a bike that is already prepped and has full exhaust and decent suspension

They do look better in black nige, and that is a good pic, but ...

the designer in me just cringes looking at the style lines going in all different directions - it looks like a parts bin bodywork special because of those strange lines

the engineer in me looks at the compromises in the rear end of the frame to put a passenger and luggage capable tail on - its a touring frame

Mind you, I would probably pay you money to have a ride on yours
I'm sure the view from the cockpit is much better

Cr@p!
The SSie looks fantastic, far better to have those sculpted flowing lines than the flat panel boring old style SS that owed more to the "dustbin" fairings on your 50's racers than it did to 90's machinery or styling
The only "old" style bikes that looked good were the 851/888 series, even the Paso looks better than the old SS
