748 frame + 749 swingarm - how to adjust ride height?

Hello guys I am new to this forum. I hope I will find help from you with my project bike. I've successfully assembled 748 frame with 749 swingarm and 2V 900cc engine. I have 749 shock and ride height rod, with 749 dogbone /I think both 748 and 749 use the same dogbone/.
Now I don't know how to adjust the ride height ,because I'm using parts from different bikes ,and the tools for adjusting are different for both bikes /I think so/.
My other concern is that the 749 shock is shorter than 748... I can fabricate a longer ride height rod ,but the angle of the dogbone will be different , is this a problem?
I need help with this ... I'm an amateur with a lot of imagination and some technical skills.

I thought both shocks were 305mm

there is something different, the shock length or maybe the dogbone mounting position is higher on the 748 frame
