Last few Regulator questions Please

With the Electrex regulator on
Two yellow wires conect to the bikes two yellow wires
One white wire conects to the bikes white wire
Red wire conects direct to the live battery terminal
Green wire conects to the neg battery terminal.
I HAVE TWO RED/BLACK WIRES LEFT OVER FROM THE LOOM
WHAT HAPPENS TO THEM ?

Not a lot I suspect, do they not connect to the battery +ve and you have basically bypassed them with the Red

Hi Kev(1),

The fitting instructions do mention that the red and black wires are used for the charge indicator - the Electrex unit has internal wiring to cope with this so, the other wires are not used at all.

I've just heatshrinked them and then wrapped them with duct tape for the hell of it.
