749 Termi exhaust

Sorry if this is a repeat of other posts but does anyone know where you can get a Termi assymetric can, carbon cover etc without the ECU. I've looked but can only find with the ECU for about £950.

This is so I can put it on a 749s with a Power Commander, as suggested in previous posts.

Regards

Mark.

Just phone a dealer and order the separate parts , you need:

Race silencer
Carbon surround
Front pipe (no cat)
Carbon heel guard for front pipe
Bolt / washer kit (race silencer uses bolts , road silencer has studs & nuts)
Pair high flow air filters

total cost is approx £600 with VAT

Thanks mate.

Seems like a silly question now that the answer is so simple!

The trouble with looking for stuff on the internet is that you forget you can phone people up and just ask, like they did in the olden days.

Regards

Mark.

There was an e-bay link for a front pipe with no cat posted on here a couple of days ago , that might save you money.

It was for a deep sump engine but will fit a standard 749 too (it doesn't work the other way round though , the standard pipe runs centrally under the engine , the deep sump pipe runs to the left , "nearside" of the engine to miss the deeper sump) , it will only fit bikes with the fabricated swing arm though , the bend under the swing arm is different on early bikes.

are you sure about those prices

I have had a bit of a look and found
Heat guard £43
pipe £110
filters £53
carbon cover £150
bolts say £5

all those prices are excluding VAT, which means that you would need to be able to pick up the silencer for about £150+VAT. Somehow, I cant see that being the case. Will be pleased to be proved wrong. Just let me know where to shop and I will go buy them

cheers

Prices are from the Ducati dealer in Aberdeen , 749R got the same stuff from Ducati glasgow , it might have been £600 plus vat , it's a while ago and my memory isn't as good as it used to be.

£53 for filters seems a bit steep , they may have gone up , I seem to remember them only being about £20 , I think the heel guard has gone up too , that was only about £30 , I suppose if people are buying parts separately instead of buying full systems they may be repricing stuff ?
