Breathing In ...
Do you accept to share with me some pics of my last idea and its achievement ???

It's wintertime and I spend my free time hidden in my garage for maintenance and few improvements on my bikes ...

Question :
How to simply avoid the engine discontent under 3000 rpm ???

Technical detail :
My "daily" T.8 fits sprockets 15X36 with Termi cans.

First step :
... I need a SP.5 airbox cover with KN filter !!!

Next step :

With open Termi cans, I need the adequate chip.
I opted for original ""038-B"" !!!

Step 3 :

I'm convinced that the couple of original steel cornets into the close airbox were too restrictive ..

Fortunalely, I own Racing T.8 and decided to replace the original carbon cornets from my Racing into ... my "daily"
T.8 !!!!

Surprisingly, carbons parts had the correct high and don't hinder the filter to fit its correct location ...

Air is a fluid and has to respect mechanical rules ...

Here you can observe an important detail :
The famous diameter sizes which allow the soft swirl ...
What a difference !!!

One of the main detail is the length of this carbon parts.
According to this lenght, power and torque will increase or not ...

Longer : Torque improvement but direct prejudice to power !!
Shorter : Opposite !!!

Along 1993 season, Roche's mechanic created an electro-mechanical system which was able to modifiy the global length of both cornets, according to the throttle position !!!

Have a look on the length difference !!!

What about the result on open roads :

After few kilometers my this new modification, I was convinced that this bike wasn't mine ...
It's a real pleasure for ... few euros !!!

The most difficult to find are both carbon parts !!!
Don't hesitate, it's a real pleasure !!!

Welcome into its deep intimity ...
