I don't think a Ducati Performance sticker board looks like boy racer stuff - it's a genuine part.

What does look like a boy racer is the white arse ends put on BPs.

What's the point in painting it when it's going to get chipped off straight away? The sticker boards are designed to withstand chips. They are white...so is white paint. Granted, the stickiness may vary, but I've put two on mine...not at the same time...and they've both been fine. The first had to be replaced when she fell over in the garage and ripped it whils shattering the screen.

I reckon all those race mechanics out there can only use a hair dryer if it says 'snap-on' on the side.

Andy

Just to add my bit, I have just got my headlight fairing, with number board, done by ProTwins and it excells my wildest expectations, really glass like finnish with a grey pinstripe, cost a couple of hundred but worth every penny.

I had a stick on number board b4 and it was a disaster, kept lifting and the holes around the screen fixing screws never lined up.

Ya pays yer money etc etc etc

eh? You mean a bip seat unit with number board? I think its the best of both worlds! I have a single seat unit, but I managed to get hold of a bip seat unit that had been professionally painted with the white numberboards. I got the seat ad recovered to match the white & from a few feet away, you wouldnt know. Of course, I've got to get my good lady on the back now- thats another story!

all good, but what i've done and most people cant tell its not painted is to get white gloss vinyl from a sign shop 10 quid will usualyy make three number boards, some half gold pinstripe from les smith and a credit card and some washing up liquid.

It looks so much better than the ducati perfromance or casoli ones as you can go right to the edges of the screen and wrap underneath. and it is so think it looks like paint.

then if you want to sell the bike, take it off.

ill post a pic up here, done two bikes now and they both look as good as painting and infact the quality of the pinstripe is better than my original sps seat

That looks very, very nice!

How about a discount price for DSC members to buy direct rather than having to bid/buy through ebay?
