If you are planning a CSS school soon, I would hold off reading the books until after so that you go with an open mind. I found TOTW 2 to be much more useful, a lot less theory and a lot more practical techniques.

BTW the definitions of all the words at the end of each chapter - it's not an American thing, it's a Scientology thing

I started reading before I did level 1, and found that Andy's way of getting it across and also reading what I was about to do had the effect of the penny dropping, because I already had the idea of what I was going to do, but when someone like Andy goes through it that really sunk in, also the Q's and A's after each session helped no end.
