You may know something I don't, but as far as I was aware the carbed monsters use the same frame with just the swinging arm different (aluminium rather than steel) on the 900, and obviously designed to take the wider wheel. Shocks are identical and I have happily swapped shocks between 600 and 900 monsters without problems. The fuel injected monsters use a different frame, taken from the ST series, and have a different shock. The superlight as far as I'm aware is completely different as well, but I'm not an expert on them, just assuming they're similar to the SS frame?

They are the standard Marzocchi Duo Shock that is fitted to 1990 851, they are 330mm in length and will fit on 888's, and monster 900's. As a shock they are OK, but I replaced mine with an Ohlins DU440. But at Nattyboys prices you can't go wrong.

I guess back then, they were "Racing" They are a good shock. Just Ohlins is better.

just finished fitting a t8 shock to my 97 m600 and the only thing you have to do is slightly slacken the banjo bolt on the top of the shock that connects the hose to it then tap it carefully through 180 degrees to clear the frame then nip it up again, job done ready for brands
