My 955sp3 project completed!

Well iv'e picked my bike from Alan's (AJR) today. Thank got it remained dry!

Having had my 916sp3 converted to a 955 my first ride thoughts are...

Power, power, more power!

Bloody hell, it don't half rev up quickly!!!

The new corse gearbox is oh so smooth...

Power is right there in every gear, even when rolled on in sixth gear at 6000rpm your arms are pulled out.

I can't thank Alan so much for the work he has done and the effort he put in trying to source parts for me.

Just need to source some 54mm header pipes to finish off the 54mm termig system i have and then it's down to the dyno with a power commander for some set up time.

I will post up the graphs for any interested party.
Engine spec supplied via email.

Future comments will be posted when i get more time out on the bike.

Thanx again to Alan, top genuine and honest bloke!

Matt.

My brother in law has just got a 996 recently so hopefully will be getting a comparison soon.

As for faster...? Will let you know when i get on the roads i know.

The bike was alot more responsive to the right hand when winding the power on, revved up in no time, so must have been going alot quicker alot sooner!

As for Alan, i can't recommend him enough to anyone.
He has been a star bloke, passionate about the work he does and doesn't charge enough for the work and time he puts in to satisfy the customer.

I won't be going anywhere else for engine work etc in the future, even though it's a 4hr round trip for me.
