Multistrada vs S2R ?

I've currently got a Multistrada which I'm not using much. Bought as a 2-up machine, but the missus won't go pillion as she can't see enough.

As a result I'm possibly looking to swapping it for an S2R as it's lower and she can see over my shoulders.

Anyone got any views on what the S2R is like and how it varies from the MS ?

Or does anyone fancy a swap ? - the bike NOT the missus :P

Monsters are not the best bikes for two-upping the seat slops the wrong way,the Multistrada is one of the best pillion bikes I`ve ever ridden. She`ll see even less on the back of a monster!

Sparkin,

I guess she's been spoiled as she really like to 1993 900ss as the best pillion seat !!

The DP comfort seat has a different profile (monster) and improves the pillion position a lot. More comfy too, obviously.....

CO's right...the DP seat really scoops away..which will give her a better position..just fitted one to mine..heres a pic to give you an idea..

Mind you Grahams right..it aint the best 2 up bike, but my missus can put up with a 100 miles at a time (as she'll have to this sunday on the way to brands...)

Surprised that your Mrs doesn't like the Multi for 2 up-my lady Jo reckons it's better than my ST4S, and she has done thousands of miles on the back of that. Says she can see much better on the Multi as she sits higher than me.

Dito Monty, Sandra reckons it's the best pillion out of all the Ducs we've had, and she is only 5' 2", mind you she couldn't even stay on the 999
