new engine wanted....

Does anyone have, or know of, a good standard carb 900ss engine for sale? Alternatively, a 900ssie with injectors?

Reason is that mine blew up on the way to Nelly's......

On the bright side, I quit my job on Wednesday!

cheers,
Chi

thanks Frank. Nelly has looked into that particular engine but ruled it out on the age and mileage.

I was enquiring, just in case anyone had one sitting in their shed. If anyone knows of one, can you pass the details onto Nelly.

The existing one is toast - went pop on the M1. No oil circulation turned the piston a different colour. Too much damage to repair. May be able to salvage some bits off it, but not holding my breath....

a sad Chi

Sorry Bud I've looked all over and draw a blank in the classified....looks like a breaker I'm afraid...

Dr.Desmo has some unspecified stuff on his website....might be worth a call.

Good luck

Just one thought.....the std barrels and pistons came along with my 944 when I bought I.

I was going to keep them incase something just like this happened.....

But a friend in need etc etc

If you need 'em - drop me a line !
