FOR SALE - Ducati 996 plus spares

For Sale:

Ducati 996 biposta in yellow.

I bought this bike in September 2001, so have owned it for nearly 12 years.

Approx 15000-15500 miles
Good service history (Baines Racing, Cornerspeed), full details available on request

Over the years, the following upgrades have been added:

Full 50mm Termignoni system with Titanium cans
Bucci (DP) slipper clutch
JHP open clutch cover
Single injector conversion (by Cornerspeed)
Single seat unit (plain yellow, no numberboards)

Downside:
The bike has not been run for over 2 years, so will need a service including belts.
No tax or MOT

I also have the following available:

Ohlins rear shock – good condition
Original biposta seat unit with pads, as-new condition, complete with rear light and brackets and rear footpegs
A variety of fairing panels, most in good condition, some new (details available when I go up in the loft)
Spare tank (scuffed, suitable for track use or repair)
Billet race (key-less) fuel filler cap
Original exhaust system (bored-out, with chip to match – part number available when I go into the garage)
Spare seat pad for mono seat – needs re-covering

Front paddock stand (Micron)
Rear paddock stand (non-branded)

Open to sensible offers, or suggestions – is it worth putting the standard seat unit back on and selling the single seat unit separately?

Photos available shortly

What are you getting to replace it Martin ... ?

I think you'd be better financially putting the bip seat back on and selling the mono seat separate. However, having a mono seat may be a deal-maker for someone looking to buy it...

If you want to sell the spare mono seat pad, I'm looking for one

I'm not replacing it.

It hasn't been out of the garage for more than 2 years now, it's just taking up space. My leathers are already hanging in the loft.

Ever since I got into cycling, my spare time is spent on that.

Not in any desperate hurry to sell it, but it seems a shame to leave it sitting there not being used.
