That was a bit of a mad thing to do. I wonder how the loudness would compare to an F1 car going past in Regent Street, London couple of years ago. At first I braved it out with no ear plugs, once it floored past me a huge wave hit my ears, ouch!

If you can fit the exhaust, you should be able to change the ecu. I can send pic's if you want help tracking it down, as mine is stripped down at the moment.

It is behind the battery on the left hand side of the engine, almost underneath. You'll need to remove the the left hand fairing, the battery, then slacken the bolts holding the battery box. The ecu is held on to the box by 2 bolts.
