Premium Choice does It Again

Got my renewal notice this week from Premium choice.
748E (W Reg)
9 years no claims
49 year old
Garaged
24k miles
fullycomp
cans.
£144, inc legal, tax etc. £500 exces.

Had a Quick ring round,
Ducati Insurance, £200, even with DSC discount

1st Quote, £141, inc lega, etc 450 exces

Rang premium choice back, matched the £141, made the exces £400, tried to get them to add breakdown into that but no go , pleaded so they made it £20 instead of £30+, total cost £161 sorted

I can only Chris' thoughts on premium choice.

out did Carle Nash & Bennetts for protecting my no claims bonus, lowest quote, full bike recovery cover, and lowest excess.

Definitely worth a ring.

How are they for modified bikes and multi bike policies. Anyone have a clue? My it's a while until I need to renew but I'll keep 'em in mind.

Not sure about multi bike policies but they are OK with mods.
They had no problem insuring my 748 with 916 motor & Termis. C/N wanted to double the premium as bike was modified.

Multi bike policies no probs. My policy lets me have up to 4 bikes, but that's down to the underwriters more than Premium Choice.

I'm happy enough with PC.

maybe its because Im a mere strip of a lad at 41 that Premium choice could or wouldnt match the first quote i got from Ducati. In any event it definitely pays to phone round, I havent heard of anyone saying that Carole Nash offered the best deal
