magnesium valve cover upgrade on 999R

Wanted these last year for my 999S. Its a stock item for the 05 and newer R bikes. Problem is they are hard/impossible to find used. Glad I sold the S bike without finding the valve cover first. Actually found the complete cylinder magnesium side covers on Ebay, the seller was BCM Ducati in Laconia N.H., USA. Well known dealership, but no mention of the valve covers to go with the sides. Called them and found out they just pulled a pair off an 05 999R and were willing to sell same. Made the deal and received these lightweight covers a week later. Not only are they cool looking, they do rid some sprung weight holding the bike back, lol. Now the bike is an updated 03 model

I have done some other mods as well, but nothing as big and as impressive that will hopefully forthcoming. Beringer brakes add ons. I'm in the final stages of selecting part numbers and its looking good so far. Not that the current Brembo brake set up needs improvement, ever since I saw a set on a buddies Honda I wanted them or at least a representative of them with the calipers and rotors. Depends, but I might go with the rear caliper and rotor too, in order to tie in the parts. I'll post up after the install.
