Corse Airbox.....

Hi everyone,

I'm after a Carbon Airbox of the Corse variety. (The one with the removable side panels).
I saw one on Ebay a couple of weeks ago, and I'm still right ****ed off I didn't win it!! (I am very crap at 'winning' stuff on Ebay though!)
Anybody any idea who sells 'em, because all I can find are the 'normal' Carbon ones?

Cheers, Mark.

Carbob Air Box

Try Tech Moto, I also know that ProTwins at Godstone have modified carbon airbox`s to have removable side panels to fit various 916 type duke`s.Good Luck.

I would suggest getting a pre-preg one since it'll increase stiffness across the frame (which I'm told is a good thing )

The proper corse airbox is actually larger than the standard one as well.
The expansion tank that normally sits in the frame at the headstock has to be moved out side of the frame.
As far as i am aware the corse airbox kit that you buy has the new expansion tank and fittings to mount this.
I would talk to John Hackett himself to find out about this.

Cheers everyone, I'll have a chat to JHP's about one. Failing that, Rips gonna get another phone call for bits to send to Portugal!
It sounds a bit worrying about the head stock bit though. Dunno if my under-par (or should that be over-par, coz that means I'm crap, which is more accurate) spanner skills would be up to a job like that....
