a cheecky little 1000 miles today

Well been out for a tank full 100 miles @ no more than 6000rpm.
I think im going to like this....

Sounds totally different to my 998s, the revs seem to pick up quicker, and ive still got to up the rear sprocket to 38 from 36.

Wheels are a bugger to clean.

I shall do the back but leave the front, and Fit a new gold chain.
In my 998 days i remember john Hackett talking about the optimum length of the wheel centre to swing arm pivot, being 500mm,
i wonder if this applies to the 999?
