6000 service, How Much

Local dealer just completed 6000 service inc belts. Cost £560 inc vat. I've looked at dealers web sits with service costs and didn't expect this. What should it have cost.
Cheers

why did you have the belts done at 6000 I thought they were every 12000. My 6000 service was £470 at Ducati Bristol.

My 999 is due for a 24mnth/12000 service shortly. At the moment the milage is 3200 and have done less than 1000 miles since last service, will I still have to have a full 24mnth/12000 or will an interim service be ok?

Yellowfila - Get the belts done as they're time dependent. Personally, I'd have the biggie for peace of mind.

Phil_h - Big service on an RSV is every other service and includes a shim check/adjust. They cost around £400.

It's Ducati

If you have to ask the price, you can't afford it
