Summer Protective Clothing...???

So there I was last Sunday afternoon.

I'm on the Amalfi coast, on my hols and here is "The 'Amalfi drive', zigzagging over 1000 hair-pin bends, is said to be Europe's most spectacular stretch of coastline"

http://getwonder.com/07/interesting-...lfi-coast.html

I'm having a post lunchtime snooze on my balcony.
Tummy full of Seafood pasta and a bottle of the local vino bianco.
The waves were lapping the beach, gentle trafic noise down below, 30+ deg, ...life is good....Aaaaaahhhhhh.....

Then comes the rumble of a familiar noise. The lovely tones of Bologna's finest coming down the road, amongst all the other bikes that seem to spend most of Sunday doing what we all like to do.
The first time I can't be bothered to open my eyes, I'm almost asleep.
But no it's coming back, up the other side of the road, then back down the same way again.
So, I open my eyes to have a look.
It's a new 848 stopped just outside my hotel.
It's lovely with the backdrop of the Med and the hills of Ravello in the background. I grab my camera and shoot off a couple of shots.
So I ask you guys, what do you think of the young lad's riding gear considering it's 30deg C and it's time for a Sunday afternoon 'HOON' round the 1000 + bends.
Apparently he does this every Sunday then it's not raining!!!!

Yep, it's an Open Face Helmet, T shirt, Shorts and Flip Flops !!!!!!!!!!

Ride safely now !
Mark ;-)

Just for posing up and down the prom, no problem, not much difference to a pedal cycle at posing speeds.

isnt there a similar photo in this weeks MCN with Neevesy on a streetfighter.

Its his skin, he will only fall off once then he will know the pain and thats part of growing up.

Personally I dont even go to the petrol station without long trousers, jacket, gloves and full face helmet but im 45 and remember the pain of coming off my AP50 neraly 30 years ago.
