carbon lorraine brake pads

I'm due for a new set of front brake pads on my 749s, I have the original brembos in at the mo, but I'm looking at putting some carbon lorraine in but just wondered if anyone has had dealings with them, with warm up and disk wear ect ect...... any feed back would be appreciated .

I used to use them on my 998 and ST4S. They were great.
No excessive disc wear, or any slower warm up period, just great grip from the off. They do wear a bit quicker than a harder pad though, obviously.

You might like to take a look at the recent thread on pads for a 996, as Bendix seem to be the new favourite, and significantly cheaper too.

Hope that helps.

Yup, love 'em!
Have had them on all my bikes and have a set to fit to the Hyper when the OEM finally wear out.

I found SPR very cheap (£53 a set for the Hyper) so the 749 may be a good deal too:
