Smile The SP3 lives!!!

I collected the SP3 from Neil at Cornerspeed last week, and just took it out for a run - absolutely superb, whatever was ailing it before Neil saw it has completely gone away, first class job. I guess I've discovered what most of this board knowsew anyway, Cornerspeed is well worth travelling for - thanks Neil, I can enjoy the World Cup now!

Only one problem, it reminds me why I want to sell the R1... So if anyone knows anyone, it's still available (see "Private Adverts" forum).

Andrew, delighted your SP3 is running as you would wish, what exactly was wrong with it?

Nothing, apparently - Neil gave it a full 12k/2 year service, which was due anyway, and it fired right up. He set the mixture, changed the fuel filter, plugs etc, but found nothing specifically wrong. I reckon it was just sulking about sharing the garage with the R1!

I meant what was wrong with it before you took it to Nelly i.e. misfiring, running rough, sluggish etc?

Doesn't matter - I did the intelligent thing and searched for an original post - glad it's ok now.

I haven't had my own SP3 long and it seems to be running ok but not as strong (I don't think) as my SP4. It doesn't need servicing so I'll just "watch" it.

BC - sorry, talking at cross purposes! Do you still have the SP4? Which do you prefer?

I'll try and make it - is it still at Cornerspeed?
