Autosolv is a metal polish, comes in a tube like tooth paste and looks a bit like tooth paste. Available in the UK from any high street car accessory shop.

Do you put the Autosolv on first or the rag and then rub the Autosolv into the rag. Do you then heat the exhaust What's the process??? Is there a website where I can order online as I'm in Germany

Hi,

Mis-spelt the name, it's actually Autosol and it's german.

check out this web site, may help

http://autosol.com/

When I use it, I rub it into the metal with my fingers and then use a cloth. Swap cloths to a fresh clean one to buff to a shine.

Does autosol get the discolouration off or do you have to use a more abrasive method first like fine emery cloth?

Mothers MAG & ALUMINUM POLISH is the stuf the show Harley boys use, polished up my 996 cans to a chrome-like finish, did both in about an hour and without the black fingers Autosol leaves you with!

...also leaves a coating that stops the finish dulling.

Only place I've seen it was West Coast but they've now gone, Google search should come up trumps - was about £6 a tub but lasts for ages.
