Hello and welcome, with regards to your clutch you just tighten them up (pinch tight) and that should be enough, there should be enough pressure on the spring to keep the bolt in place.
I've never had to use locktite etc on the pressure plate bolts personally, maybe someone else can shed some light on that for you.
I assume the bars open then? Actually just a nice latté for me, bit too early yet
Jon's right. The bolts should all be screwed down tight. Just nip them up though as they can shear. They are only M5. Don't use a threadlock on them, just a smear of grease as they can corrode in place making them difficult to get out.
Thanks for posting a question that I was about to ask! Welcome - this is a really frienbdly and helpful board - I am pretty new but will be hopefully attending some rideouts next year (so long as they are slow enough for my lardy pace!) - I would like a pint of Dogsbolter please
Stainless bolts are a good replacement if you're taking them out, as these won't corrode in place and cause problems later.
You can buy them in sets off eBay for about £15, but I would advise you to search for the right size bolt on eBay instead and pick them up for pennies!
