Almost There !!

Hi, New member and never ridden a v twin before but I am very close to buying a MST, my last bike was a tarted up GSX1400 which I sold last November, I have yet to take a test ride but just sitting on one in the showroom felt so right, you know that feeling ? kind of special more like being part of the bike, something I never got from the GSX.
I have read through most of the threads here and already know its just a matter of when as opposed to if.
Question :- I have the choice of buying a new one (Black) or there is a second hand Silver one fitted (badly) with a hugger, topbox and comfort screen on a 03 plate with 4,000 miles on for £6300, what would you do, yes I know it's my choice but if I don't make my mind up soon someone else might.
Cheers
John

Hmm,tough call.
The hugger and comfort screen are the best bolt ons you can get.
Nowt like having a brand new one tho,and the 0% deal is still on.
I was in Italia Moto Lincoln today and they had all colours in stock.Do it!

go for new, - my justification.
1. 0% even if your don't need to borrow, you just have to at 0%. You just have to sign the agreement before 31st March to qualify. I believe you don't have to actually take delivery.
2. I reckon a 04 fresh from Italy MS might just have a few niggles ironed out that perhaps were more evident on the first ones.
3. You get to run it in. 57 miles 540 to go of that today for me, might prove to be a negative rather than a postive.
4. Go for your first choice of colour, or you will always regret it, - well I would.

Let us know what you decide, - and don't pay any attention to us, - do what you feel is best.

Thinks we can form a meeting for DSC Multistradas soon, - i picked mine up at 9.30 Saturday, guy after me was picking up another, - common as ????.
