Technical internet browser question

I've just got a new pc, and it uses XP.

I use BT Broadband, and the BT/Yahoo browser - which I also used on the old pc with no probs.

I run Zonelabs firewall/anti-virus etc etc

The problem is...

When I click on U2U or right click something and select "Open in new window" it opens up a new window, but nothing loads up on the page.

What have a broken now?

I had to use IE6 browser to open up my U2U's just now, but I have the same problem with the right click, open in new window option with both browsers.

RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem in Internet Explorer, follow these steps:
1. Quit all programs that are running.
2. Click Start, and then click Run.
3. Type regsvr32 urlmon.dll, and then click OK.
4. When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message, click OK.
If this does not resolve the problem, repeat steps 2 through 4 for each of the following files (in step 3, replace Urlmon.dll with each of the file names below):
• Shdocvw.dll
• Actxprxy.dll
• Oleaut32.dll
• Mshtml.dll
• Browseui.dll
• Shell32.dll

Oh I forgot two things:

1. Windows XP and Windows 2000 only
Restart the computer to enable the changes to take effect.

2. Try it at your own risk.

Mood: gutted.
Why not just use firefox or opera as a browser. Theyre both better browsers and both free.

Thanks for the replies gents.

I've downloaded Firefox (only coz I'm fed up destroying my operating system ) - and everything is working fine.

Cheers
