Warning,Tarts Handbag Alert!

After looking at Dodgy's tarty 749 on the recent Norfolk run there seems to be an unofficial "tarts handbag" competition going. The object is to bolt on as many carbon, shiney or anodised items you can on to the bike.None of which make the bike any faster, handle better or add value.First up is Marko with his perspex clutch cover and red pressure plate. The look is finished with stainless springs and red caps. There is also a sprinkling of carbon goodies.Next up is RedSeb who has also gone down the red pressure plate/fancy cover route. The bike also wears some fancy carbon air tube covers.
As for me,well I would'nt lower myself to such depths to get myself(or my bike) noticed!

I'm going the opposite route. I started with one perfectly clean, shiny Ducati and I'm doing my best to replace all it's shiny bits with skanky old parts from eBay to fix crash damage.

There should be a competition for 'slut bikes' except that Desmondo has beaten me to it...wait a moment though...board names aside we're both J. Martin...I wonder if having the same initial and surname and well used bikes means we're related?

:"Jools, when you've turned it into a rat bike I'll have it"

Jools:"Feck off, feck off, feck off, feck off"

their i was minding my own buisiness reading today's posts when i notice a vicious attack from who i can only presume is victor meldrew of the sporting club. i didn't realise that i could only bolt on things on my bike that make it faster or worth more to be respected by my piers.I am duly told, but i can't help feeling riding bright red ducati sports bike people will still notice me,so im off to get some more trinkets for my handbag

p.s life would be boring without a bit of banter

well what can I say, this is from a mate who has enough Tarty bits to start his own Harem. as for me I don't see any thing wrong with the odd TART here and there as long as she is mucky:cool :
