Awesome weekend 2

I'm not sure I remember qualifying at all really, went out and qualified 2nd on the grid which I thought was good, until I saw Andy was 3.3 something seconds faster! I had been hoping I'd keep up with Andy this weekend and maybe, hopefully take a win or two, but 3.3 seconds is a lot to find.

I was sitting in my van having 1 last cup of tea and chatting with my friend, 'Team Manager' and 'organiser' (organiser is a new responsibility I have given him) Neal when we decided to take a wander over and see what was going on,,, Oh ********! That's our race on the start grid.

I ran back to the bike through on my helmet and gloves and raced through the paddock to the collection area only to be told I was too late! After breaking down, crying and grovelling I was allowed to start from the back... from the back! Oh ********!

I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry but it made me very determined and somehow I managed to get up to 2nd place and a new Lap Record, very cool,

I was looking forward to race 2 being tied in the championship with 'Lightning' Challis but race 2 was pretty rubbish for everyone, especially the people who went down, I managed a 3rd place to Dallas, and nearly a 4th to Andy Pike who did overtake me but I guess it must have been after the line, well done to Dallas who seems to have got it all together again, Andy was soooo far ahead, with another new lap record, he was almost in a different race.

Race 3 was an almost perfect start for me but I soon got overtaken by Dallas again, and we were having a bit of a race until his bike decided to start throwing bits of its self at me and he got black flagged, sorry mate, Andy Challis was again miles ahead and I pushed and pushed as hard as I could to catch up but each time I started to close the gap he seemed to speed up a bit more and maintained his lead.

Snetterton, 3 / nil to Andy,

Race 2 I believe was declared but at ˝ points because we didn't complete enough laps and I think that means that Andy Challis is now leading the championship by 14˝ points.

(if I'm wrong please let me know)

well done to Andy Challis for being,,, Awesome,,,, this weekend.

and sorry not to have mentioned all the other's who did give me hard time Paul, Steve, Andy pike, etc etc etc,

Matt 'Must try harder at Anglesey' Lawson.

I must admit to being very confused when, after starting at the back of the grid, I saw a silver flash on my right hand side!!

WTF?!?! I hadn’t crossed the start line and I was being lapped, hang on a minute…

Handicap races are the way forward I think

Thanks Guys, It was probably my best and most fun race to date, starting from the back when you want to win really gives you an extra bit of determination, I was loving every second of it. I didn't think I would get anywhere near the front, not that I did get anywhere near Andy but 2nd! wow, Brilliant.
