More advice please

After all the great advice given about bike set up etc I wonder if you can help with some advice on how to talk the lovely, but stubborn (ex nurse) Mrs into letting me go to Pembery with a bust ankle!
Following my little event on the track day before Snetterton my ankle has been swollen, I did go to the quack just after Cadwell to see if she could help to get swelling down, she sent me for an X-ray to help her identify the tendon damage........ha!
The Dr called my home number with the results today when I was out, she spoke to the aforementioned lovely Mrs H and told her that she had booked me an appointment tomorrow at the fracture clinic as I had a broken ankle. I am sure you can guess the understanding and concerned greeting I got when I got in of my bike this evening, with some kind of badly disguised threat about what would happen to my love spuds if I dared to think of going to Pembery. I pointed out that I had been to Cadwell two weeks after Snetterton, but she did not see this as particularly positive or constructive.
In truth I think Pembery is not very realistic for me, so I hope you all have a great weekend at Pembery, and I will see you all at Brands.

Well Mark its about the furthest from you, although Brands may be a tad further.
Whilst its fun the rest will be beneficial, Brummie Dave is having to sit this one out as well. Good luck with Mrs H, but you know she knows best. :-)

Going to be quiet in B class with Jim missing as well. GWS and see you at Brands, on the other hand if you feel like living on the edge defy Mrs H and come to Pembrey

nice speedy diagnosis from the nhs-
get lots calcium+vit d, vit c, multi vits with lots minerals, extra protein and if possno anti inflam like ibuprofen(as can slow healing process) and get it as strong as can for brands

I'm going give it a go this w/e with my broken metacarpal- tried riding on road today and can do brake and throttle fine- will do few sessions on fri to make sure i'm happy with it but not too much to make it hurt- reckon will be fine as long as i don't fall on it- see you all there thu eve

And to add to that, get a wheat bag,( you heat them in a microwave) heat is great for healing bones, especialy as heat moves blood quicker and it's blood that is needed to rebuild broken bones

Defy Mrs H.....there go the love spuds then!

Defy Mrs H.....are you mad?
She is handy with shotgun, top 3 finisher in European Archery championship, now keeps rare breed sheep and can castrate a Ram with so much ease it makes me feel very nervous!
I think I have got away with it all quite well so far, I raced the day after busting ankle at Snetterton, then kept quiet about it and did the track day and four races at Cadwell, then went out with Moto Scotalnd on dirt bike adventure day last week.
She is ok with me riding road bike to Nurbergring and having a few laps, then going on to Alps the week before racing at Brands, so I cant really complain, she is a keeper!
