Cutting Light holes

I received a set of track fairings from BARRY and the front fairing wont meet up the side fairings as I havent removed the front lights, so its about two inches short.
I am thinking of cutting the holes for the lights so the fairing can be made to meet. I am frightened of getting the holes to match so as I dont have one HUGE hole there.
Any tips of the best way to cut it so as it will match ?
Or has anyone got one of those front fairings with the single Light ?
Thanks
