aka eric, says the factory manual doesn't give a height for the top of the forks over the top yolk, he's right!...But it does give a figure for the height from the bottom of the bottom yolk, which when everything is assembled gives a height from the top of the top yolk, to the top of the flange, below the large hex of the top nut of 12.5/13mm. This is the standard setting for Showa forks ( it shows about 10mm of the gold fork leg above the yolk ). This is the base line, when deciding wether to add or subtract any ride height from the front forks. Steve Robins s.w. |
